Job summary

Sylvania is seeking a part-time cafeteria worker in Spring Grove, Pennsylvania to assist in preparing and serving meals under the National School Lunch and School Breakfast program guidelines. Three positions are available at this location. Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or equivalent and basic computer knowledge.

Qualifications

• Graduation from high school or the equivalent.
• Basic sanitation procedures and large volume food preparation desirable.
• Knowledge of the requirements of the school lunch program preferred.
• Basic knowledge with computers.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and serving of meals according to program guidelines.
• Assist in proper cleaning and sanitizing of kitchen facilities.
• Operate cafeteria equipment properly and safely.
• Complete daily food production records and report inventory shortages.
• Cross train in kitchen positions including cashier when needed.
• Follow rules and regulations and maintain confidentiality.
