Job summary

Whitsons is seeking a School Food Delivery Driver to support our nutrition team with timely, safe deliveries between schools. This full-time role runs Monday–Friday with no evenings, weekends, or holidays, providing a dependable daytime schedule.

You will drive a company vehicle, load/unload, perform safety checks, and maintain accurate delivery logs while upholding professional standards and district policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; must complete required Whitsons and government-mandated training as required.
• Minimum 1 year of professional driving experience required; food service or delivery driving experience preferred.
• Clean, valid, and unblemished driver’s license required at all times; ServSafe certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely drive a company vehicle to deliver food and supplies between schools in the district.
• Load and unload products with care, ensuring proper storage and delivery.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and keep accurate logs and reports.
• Keep the delivery vehicle clean and in excellent working condition.
• Communicate with the central office as needed to ensure timely, accurate deliveries.
• Follow all local driving laws and school district policies.
