Job summary

Whitsons is seeking a School Food Delivery Driver to join its school nutrition team, delivering meals between district schools and maintaining vehicle safety and logs. The role runs Monday–Friday, 6:30am–2:30pm, with a schedule aligned to the school calendar.

Pay is $19.50 per hour. The position requires a clean driving record, on-site work near schools, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Training and ServSafe certification are preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; must complete Whitsons and government-mandated training as required.

Responsibilities

• Safely drive a company vehicle to deliver food and supplies between schools in the district.
• Load and unload products with care, ensuring proper storage and delivery.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and keep accurate logs and reports.
• Keep the delivery vehicle clean and in excellent working condition.
• Communicate with the central office as needed to ensure timely, accurate deliveries.
• Follow all local driving laws and school district policies.
