Job summary

Whitsons Culinary Group is seeking a School Food Delivery Driver to support its nutrition program. You will safely transport food and supplies between district schools, loading and unloading items and performing vehicle inspections, logs, and reports.

The role emphasizes independence with strong attention to safety, professionalism, and punctuality. Typical hours are Monday–Friday with a mid-afternoon finish, in a full-time, on-site setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; must complete Whitsons and government-m mandated training as required.
• Minimum 1 year of professional driving experience required; food service or delivery driving experience preferred.
• Clean, valid and unblemished driver’s license required at all times; ServSafe certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely drive a company vehicle to deliver food and supplies between schools in the district.
• Load and unload products with care, ensuring proper storage and delivery.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and keep accurate logs and reports.
• Keep the delivery vehicle clean and in excellent working condition.
• Communicate with the central office as needed to ensure timely, accurate deliveries.
• Follow all local driving laws and school district policies.
