Job summary

Whitsons Culinary Group in New York, NY is seeking a School Food Delivery Driver to keep student meals moving on a Monday–Friday schedule with no nights or weekends. You will safely drive a company vehicle between schools, load and unload deliveries, log daily activity, and communicate with the central office to ensure on-time service.

This is a full-time role requiring a valid driver's license and ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required; must complete all Whitsons and government-mandated training as required.
• Minimum 1 year of professional driving experience; food service or delivery driving experience preferred.
• Clean, valid driver’s license required; ServSafe certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely drive a company vehicle to deliver food and supplies between schools in the district.
• Load and unload products with care, ensuring proper storage and delivery.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and keep accurate logs and reports.
• Keep the delivery vehicle clean and in excellent working condition.
• Communicate with the central office as needed to ensure timely, accurate deliveries.
• Follow all local driving laws and school district policies.
