Job summary

Christ the King Catholic School on the north side of Indianapolis is hiring a daytime maintenance worker. You will perform routine upkeep to keep classrooms, restrooms, offices, and grounds safe, clean, and functional for students, staff, and visitors.

Responsibilities include basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and painting; inspections; event setup/breakdown; and coordination with staff and vendors. Must lift up to 50 lbs and hold a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Prior maintenance, custodial, or facilities experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of building systems and repair techniques.
• Ability to operate maintenance tools and equipment safely.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Valid driver’s license.
