Qualifications

• Must be flexible and work well in a team.
• 1 year of line cook or culinary experience.
• Willingness to learn the USDA National School Lunch Program compliance.
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic and reliability.
• Punctual and able to adhere to time and attendance policies.
• Able to climb stairs and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Interest in Genuine Foods' mission to support students' minds, bodies and happiness.
• Must be able to work in a school environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure food safety standards are followed at all times.
• Cook and prep food according to recipes and specifications provided by the Chef/Genuine Foods.
• Coordinate with team members to ensure all food is prepared on time for service.
• Maintain a clean working environment and assist with additional cleaning duties.
• Keep area stocked and organized.
• Perform any additional duties as assigned.
