Responsibilities

• Order food supplies following MSSD procedures.
• Create and prepare appealing meals using nutritional guidelines.
• Prepare and serve food including special diets as ordered by physicians.
• Perform kitchen clean-up duties.
• Follow health standards of local Department of Health.
• Complete required reports on or before deadlines.
• Demonstrate safe food handling around students and staff.
• Maintain confidentiality of student and parent information.
• Maintain CPR certification to BLS standards.
• Participate in staff development to keep cooking skills current.
• Follow training plans for individual students.
