Zusammenfassung

Denver Public Schools is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to administer and manage care within a health services setting. You may support a 1:1 student or float to cover the Health Office, with flexibility to travel district-wide under RN supervision.

Requirements include a Colorado LPN license, practical nursing education, BLS CPR, and at least three years of clinical nursing experience. Proficiency with Google Suite is expected; bilingual Spanish is a plus.

Qualifikationen

• Requires High School Diploma or GED and LPN license (Colorado DORA).
• Graduate of approved Practical Nursing program with state licensure.
• BLS CPR certification required.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.

Aufgaben

• Provide nursing care for the health needs of students.
• Administer medications and perform nursing procedures under RN supervision per DPS protocol.
• Respond to medical emergencies promptly.
• Participate in identification of students with health needs.
• Follow IHP healthcare plans created by the RN.
• Maintain student health records.
• Coordinate mandated vision and hearing screenings.
• Ensure compliance with health laws and district policies.
• Monitor and report infectious diseases; submit required reports.
• Others duties as assigned.
