Job summary

Ellington Public Schools in Ellington, CT is seeking a full-time library media assistant at Windermere Elementary School, effective August 24, 2026. The role supports the media center under the direction of a certified library media specialist and the building principal.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work independently with strong organizational skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft applications and Google Docs.
• Excellent computer skills; familiarity with library software preferred.
• Background checks (state/national) and DCF background check required.
• Previous related experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Windermere's media center under the direction of a certified librarian and building principal.
