Job summary

Mesa Public Schools' Carson Junior High in Mesa, AZ is looking for a Resource Center Aide to support the media center operations. This part-time role (29 hours per week) begins immediately, with a base hourly rate of $16.56 and a 9.25 month calendar.

You will assist the resource center specialist, help students and teachers with materials, and perform clerical tasks. Strong organization, basic computer skills, and reliable attendance are essential.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree or 60 college credit hours OR pass the ParaPro Test
• High School education or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Assist the resource center specialist in daily operation of the media center
• Assist students and teachers in selecting materials
• Assist in circulation tasks (check in/out books and materials)
• Perform general clerical tasks and repairs of books and materials
• Maintain regular, on-time attendance
• Perform other related duties to ensure efficient functioning
• Assist with other duties as assigned in Mesa Public Schools
