Job summary

McHenry Community Consolidated School District 15 is seeking a Substitute Food Service worker. Hours are as needed Monday through Friday, with duties including preparing daily menus, inventory, and production records. Must have a High School Diploma, food sanitation certification (helpful), and strong math and reading skills. Safe food handling per HACCP required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Food Sanitation Certification is required (will help obtain).
• Ability to read, write, follow recipes and perform simple math.

Responsibilities

• Prepare daily food menu and complete inventory, production records, and daily sheets.
• Maintain sanitation and safety according to HACCP principles and local health departments.
• Communicate respectfully with staff, students, and coworkers and work as part of a team.
