Job summary

Dartmouth Public Schools is seeking a part-time Substitute Food Service Worker to support the school nutrition program. The position runs Monday through Friday with shifts from 6:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., and pays $16 hourly.

Starting date is immediate. Responsibilities include food preparation, serving, cashiering, cleaning, and following safety and sanitation policies. Prior food service experience and a high school or trade school diploma are preferred, and eligibility to work in the U.S.

Qualifications

• At least 3 year(s) of relevant experience preferred.
• High School/Trade School degree preferred.
• Citizenship, residency or work visa required.

Responsibilities

• Performs duties related to food prep, serving, cashiering, and kitchen cleaning.
• Follows safety, sanitation, and cash handling policies.
• Assists with food preparation, portions, and serving meals.
• Cleans dishes, equipment, and work areas.
• Performs tasks assigned by Supervisor or Lead.
