Qualifications

• Experience leading school or large-scale food service.
• Knowledge of USDA Child Nutrition Programs preferred.
• ServSafe certification or willingness to obtain certification preferred.
• Strong organizational, communication, planning, and prioritization skills.
• Experience supervising, coaching, and developing employees.
• Ability to stay organized in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Attention to food quality, safety, sanitation, and record-keeping.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily kitchen and cafeteria operations.
• Implement scratch-made menus and USDA-compliant meals.
• Prepare and serve meals with proper meal counts and safety procedures.
• Develop prep lists and production schedules for efficient service.
• Supervise cafeteria staff; schedule shifts and provide coaching.
• Maintain inventory, ordering, and monthly records.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, HACCP, and inspections.
