Job summary

Circle City Prep in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a Kitchen Prep/Dish/Serve role to support student meals. You will perform basic prep, assist during meals, keep areas sanitary, and follow ServSafe guidelines to ensure safe, nutritious food for scholars.

The ideal candidate has prior school or restaurant kitchen experience, can lift up to 50 lbs, and may speak conversational Spanish. Background checks are required to comply with regulations.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a school and/or restaurant kitchen.
• Ability to speak conversational Spanish (preferred).
• Must be able to lift 50lbs without assistance.
• Must be able to work extended hours on feet.
• Pass a criminal background check, as required by law.

Responsibilities

• Executes basic prep work as assigned
• Ensure accurate daily reporting of production/sales
• Maintains sanitation and cleanliness in the kitchen/dish area
• Comply with nutrition, sanitation, and industry regulations, safety standards, and best practices in line with ServSafe guidelines
• Participates in service during meal periods
• Additional responsibilities as assigned
