Job summary

Whitsons is seeking a School Food Service Worker to join our nutrition team in a school setting. The schedule is Monday–Friday with no nights or weekends, offering family-friendly hours and on-site work in Massachusetts.

You will help serve healthy meals, learn food safety rules, and contribute to a positive mealtime experience for students and staff. Training is provided; no prior experience is required beyond a positive attitude and reliability.

Qualifications

• Must complete Whitsons and government-mandated training.
• Minimum 1 year of professional food service preferred but not required.
• ServSafe certification preferred but not required.
• Ability to read and understand English and follow safety rules.
• Present a positive, professional image and work well in a team.

Responsibilities

• Prep, portion, and serve meals to students and staff.
• Set up and clean serving stations and kitchen areas.
• Follow food safety and sanitation procedures.
• Create a positive and welcoming mealtime experience.
• Work as part of a fun, energetic team.
