Job summary

Flik Independent School Dining is hiring a First Cook for St. Luke's School in New Canaan, CT. This full-time role runs Monday through Friday, 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, with online applications accepted only.

Prior cooking experience is preferred, and a referral bonus is available. The position offers free meals, uniforms, and laundering service at select locations. The First Cook will prepare food following production schedules and recipes, ensure HACCP compliance, and serve customers with efficiency

Qualifications

• Previous cooking experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares food according to daily production schedules and recipes.
• Operates and cleans kitchen equipment after each use.
• Stores, labels, and dates all food items per policy and HACCP guidelines.
• Takes orders from customers and serves at multiple stations.
• Maintains quality, serving temperatures and portion control.
