Elior Independent School Dining is seeking an experienced cook for our Monroe, LA location. Join a motivated kitchen team in a fast-paced, high-volume school dining setting and prepare high-quality meals with a scratch-cooking emphasis.

You will handle quality/portion control, food prep, presentation, and proper storage while following safe handling policies. This role offers growth within a supportive education-focused division.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of culinary experience in a quality, high-volume establishment with emphasis on scratch cooking.
• Knowledge of proper culinary methods, techniques and standards.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Customer service experience required.
• Nice-to-have: Food handlers’ certification.
