Job summary

The Cook will assist in meal preparation under the Head Cook, maintain sanitary conditions, collect payments from students and staff, attend training, and ensure compliance with USDA meal component requirements and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Education level and knowledge sufficient to meet performance requirements of position.

Responsibilities

• Performs food preparation duties as assigned by Head Cook.
• Cleans utensils, equipment and storage areas to maintain sanitary conditions.
• Collects payments from students and staff for food items.
• Attends annual training to monitor meal components and USDA reimbursements.
• Follows all food safety requirements including wardrobe and hygiene.
