Genuine Foods is hiring a full-time Cook for a school-based dining program in Santa Fe, NM. You will prepare and serve meals following daily menus and recipes, with opportunities to learn culinary skills and advance your career.

Ideal candidates have 1 year of line cook or culinary experience, a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a collaborative approach with students, educators and kitchen staff in a fast-paced environment. PTO and health benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• 1 year of line cook or culinary experience.
• Willingness to learn the compliance requirements of the USDA National School Lunch Program.
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic and level headedness.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to daily menu and recipe standards.
• Cook and prep food based on recipes and specifications from Chef/Genuine Foods.
• Coordinate with team to ensure food is prepared on time for service.
• Maintain a clean working environment and assist with cleaning duties.
• Keep area stocked and organized.
