Whitsons is seeking a School Cook to prepare nutritious meals in a student-focused kitchen. You’ll follow school menus, maintain safety and cleanliness, and work with a team to deliver meals on a schedule that fits a school day.

The role offers a family-friendly schedule, paid training, and opportunities for growth. Training in HACCP and ServSafe will be provided, with a path to a stable full-time position in a mission-driven environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; training as needed by Whitsons/government rules.
• Minimum 1 year of professional culinary or food service experience; school nutrition experience preferred.
• ServSafe certification required or must obtain within defined timeframe; local food safety certification may be required.
• Proficient in recipe procedures and cooking techniques; able to read and follow recipes in English.
• Positive, professional image; able to work in a fast-paced kitchen with a team.

Responsibilities
