Quest Food Management Services Llc is seeking a Food Service Worker to support daily school kitchen operations in Skokie, IL. The role involves preparing ingredients, serving meals, and maintaining a clean, safe work environment.

The ideal candidate is reliable, energetic, and able to work efficiently as part of a team to meet daily production goals. This part-time position follows the school calendar and offers no nights, weekends, or holidays.

Qualifications

• Previous food service, restaurant, cafeteria experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare fruits, vegetables, and other menu items according to standardized recipes and meal schedules.
• Wash, cut, portion, cook, and package food products for distribution.
• Assist with meal assembly and service to ensure accuracy and quality standards are met.
• Label, date, and store food products following food safety guidelines.
• Operate kitchen equipment including ovens, steam tables, and knives.
• Maintain clean and organized workstations throughout the shift.
• Follow HAACP procedures and document food temperatures as required.
• Assist with receiving deliveries and stocking inventory using FIFO procedures.
• Support cooks with food preparation and other duties as assigned.
• Work efficiently to meet production deadlines.
• Adhere to all company, local, state, and federal food safety and sanitation guidelines.
