Job summary

Saginaw Township Community Schools seeks a Kitchen Helper/Cashier at Arrowwood Elementary School in Saginaw Township. This part-time position runs 4 hours per day, Monday–Friday when school is in session (August–May), with immediate availability. Pay is $14.26–$16.35 per hour.

Responsibilities include assisting with kitchen production, serving or cashiering, record keeping, and keeping the area clean. Qualifications: high school diploma or GED; ServSafe certification preferred or willing to

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• ServSafe certification preferred or willingness to acquire after hire.
• Ability to work cooperatively with students, parents and staff.
• Familiar with cash register operations or POS systems.
• Punctual and excellent attendance record.
• Good organizational skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Assist with general kitchen production including cooking and baking.
• Prepare, assist with set up, serving or cashiering and clean up for breakfast.
• Keep accurate records of production.
• Fill in for assistant cook when needed.
• Keep workspace and equipment clean and organized.
• Capable of completing all general kitchen and baking duties.
• Assist with serving line setup for meal service.
• Cashier or assist with serving during lunch periods.
• Assist with tear down and general clean up after meal service.
• Other duties as assigned.
