Job summary

Compass Group's SSC Services for Education is hiring immediately for a Full Time and Part Time Janitor in Moore, OK 73160. The role offers flexibility to meet scheduling needs and emphasizes safety, cleanliness and patient-friendly environments within educational facilities.

Experience in janitorial work is strongly preferred, with a focus on thorough cleaning, floor care and adherence to infection control guidelines.

Qualifications

• Janitorial experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Keeps buildings clean and orderly.
• Performs heavy cleaning duties, including floor cleaning, rug shampooing, washing walls and glass, and rubbish removal.
• Collects and disposes of trash following procedures and infection control plans.
• Dusts and damp mops floors following procedures.
• Moves equipment and furniture and places them back correctly.
• Cleans assigned areas with specified materials and equipment; sanitizes surfaces and follows the eight-step cleaning procedure.
• Washes walls, windows, furniture and baseboards to maintain a clean environment for patients, visitors and staff.
• Seeks out areas requiring cleaning and takes initiative to complete tasks.
• Performs tasks as assigned by supervisor and adheres to federal, state and county guidelines.
• Strips, scrubs, buffs and refinishes floors; shampoos carpet.
• Contributes to the team with professional conduct.
