Qualifications

• Prior janitorial experience preferred.
• Able to perform cleaning duties in a busy school environment.

Responsibilities

• Collect and dispose of trash following approved procedures.
• Dust and damp mop floors per approved procedures.
• Move equipment and furniture for cleaning and return to place.
• Clean areas with assigned materials and equipment; sanitize surfaces.
• Wash walls, windows, furniture and baseboards to maintain a clean environment.
• Identify areas needing cleaning and complete tasks promptly.
• Follow federal, state and local guidelines while performing duties.
• Strip, scrub, buff and refinish floors; shampoo carpets.
• Contribute to the team and maintain professionalism with customers and staff.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
