Job summary

Washington Elementary School District is seeking a Health Services Technician to provide health care for students and staff in the Phoenix, AZ area. The role includes health screenings, first aid, medication administration, immunization tracking, and maintaining health records.

You will work under the Principal, follow district procedures, and contribute to student wellness and safety through compliant health services and education.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two years of healthcare or school health experience.
• CPR certification required before hire.
• First Aid certification required before hire.
• Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card required.

Responsibilities

• Administer basic first aid and assess level of care.
• Organize health office and maintain health records.
• Administer daily medications under supervision with parental consent.
• Report attendance and communicate with parents and principal as needed.
• Provide health information and screenings for students and staff.
• Deliver health education and emergency care training as appropriate.
• Maintain and update immunization records and health supplies.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Health Services Coordinator.
