Job summary

The Academies of Math and Science Power Campus in Mesa, AZ is hiring a Health Technician to support student health services and safety. This on-site role collaborates with staff, families, and external partners to maintain confidential health records and ensure compliance with state requirements.

The ideal candidate holds CMA, EMT, or CNA certification, CPR/First Aid/AED, and a clean IVP fingerprint clearance.

Qualifications

• Must hold CMA, EMT, or CNA certification.
• CPR, First Aid, and AED certifications required.
• Arizona IVP Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card required.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a school-based, pediatric, or clinical setting.
• Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for students who are injured or ill, including basic first aid and assessment.
• Notify parents/guardians and document health office visits.
• Administer medications per AMS policies and state regulations.
• Maintain secure and compliant storage of medications.
• Maintain accurate student health records, including immunizations and visit logs.
• Support compliance tracking, reporting, and audits.
• Maintain a clean and organized health office environment.
• Coordinate inventory and ordering of medical supplies.
