Qualifications

• Must have two years healthcare or school health experience.
• CPR certification prior to hire.
• First Aid certification prior to hire.
• Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card (AZ IVP FPCC) required.

Responsibilities

• Administers basic first aid and screens ill or injured students and staff; documents accidents per district procedures.
• Organizes and maintains health office and records; reviews immunization records to ensure compliance.
• Administers daily medications and treatments under supervision with parental consent; stores meds securely.
• Reports daily attendance for each class and notifies parents of absences; informs principal of excessive absences.
• Provides health information to students and staff; advises on emergencies and medically sensitive situations.
• Performs health screenings (vision/hearing/lice) and maintains records in compliance with laws.
