Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• CPR/AED/First-aid training must be completed within 30 days from hire and maintained.
• Complete district safety and health trainings within specified timelines.
• HIPAA/FERPA training provided by nursing coordinator.

Responsibilities

• Assist RN with nursing services, first aid, illness, and emergency care.
• Administer and document medications per school policy.
• Follow health care plans implemented by the RN.
• Assist with ADLs in special education rooms as delegated by the RN.
• Maintain medical records in compliance with state requirements.
