Job summary

Denver Public Schools is seeking a Clinical Nurse Program Manager to lead districtwide student health programs, supervise the Nursing Services team, and ensure compliance with IDEA and Section 504 to promote health equity and student well‑being.

You will set clinical standards, mentor staff, analyze program data, and collaborate with leadership to support regulatory reporting and continuous improvement across DPS schools.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited college or university.
  • Master’s Degree in Nursing preferred.
  • Three or more years in school nursing/public health/pediatric nursing.
  • Current Colorado (or compact) DORA RN license.
  • Current Colorado Department of Education Special Provider license.
  • Current BLS certification.
  • Valid Colorado driver’s license.
  • Proficiency with Google Docs, Sheets, and Gmail.
  • Strong communication and time-management skills.
  • Ability to train and develop nursing education material.
  • Commitment to equity and culturally responsive care.
  • Bilingual in Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Direct development, implementation, and evaluation of districtwide student health programs.
  • Establish and monitor clinical standards and districtwide protocols.
  • Provide supervision and mentorship to Nursing Services staff.
  • Ensure adherence to clinical documentation standards via audits.
  • Design and facilitate professional learning for nursing staff.
  • Analyze health program data to inform planning and reporting.
  • Support community partnerships and regulatory reporting.
  • Other duties as assigned.
