Job summary

LEARN Charter School Network is seeking a Health Office Nurse (LPN) to support the school health office at the South Chicago Campus in Chicago, IL. The role covers direct nursing care, medication administration, and health plan implementation for students.

You will work with the RN School Nurse and campus team to ensure safe health management, immunization review, and health documentation, with occasional coverage at other campuses as needed.

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted Illinois LPN license.
• CPR/AED certification or ability to obtain upon hire.
• Pediatric, school nursing, community health, ambulatory care or similar nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to students in illness, injury, or health concerns.
• Administer medications and treatments per orders and health plans.
• Support students with chronic or complex health conditions during the school day.
• Monitor student condition and escalate as needed.
• Respond to medical emergencies and initiate appropriate interventions.
• Implement Individualized Health Plans and Emergency Action Plans within LPN scope.
