Job summary

LEARN Charter School Network in Chicago seeks a Health Office Nurse (LPN) to support daily operations, provide direct nursing care, administer medications, and implement health plans across campus network. You will collaborate with the RN nurse and campus team, manage immunization records, maintain compliance, and respond to medical emergencies while traveling between campuses as needed.

Requires IL LPN license, CPR/AED, pediatric/school health experience, and strong communication and

Qualifications

Current, unrestricted Illinois LPN license required.
CPR/AED certification required or ability to obtain upon hire.
Pediatric/school nursing experience preferred.
Knowledge of medication administration and chronic disease management.
Ability to recognize changes in student condition and escalate care.
Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

Provide direct nursing care to students experiencing illness, injury, or health concerns.
Administer medications and treatments per provider orders and health plans.
Monitor student condition and escalate care as needed.
Respond to medical emergencies and initiate emergency protocols.
Document nursing care, medications, treatments, and visits in health records.
Support emergency preparedness and health initiatives across campuses.
Occasionally cover at other Chicago or Lake County campuses.
