Job summary

Bowling Green City Schools is seeking a School Health Services Nurse (LPN/RN) at Bowling Green Middle School in Bowling Green, OH. The role is full-time, Monday–Friday, 7:30 a.m.–3:10 p.m., with an hourly rate of $27.00, based on experience.

The nurse will manage student health needs, administer medications, maintain health records, and collaborate with families and school staff to provide a safe and healthy learning environment.

Qualifications

• Current, valid Ohio LPN or RN license.
• Ability to perform duties within Ohio nursing scope and district policy.
• Meet school employment requirements including background checks and health clearances.
• Effective communication, organization, documentation, and collaboration skills.
• Maintain confidentiality of student and employee information.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care and first aid to students experiencing illness, injury, or other health concerns.
• Respond to medical emergencies per established procedures.
• Support student health initiatives across the district.
• Maintain accurate, confidential health records and complete required documentation.
• Assist with medication administration and health plans.
• Collaborate with families and school personnel to address health needs.
• Participate in health-related trainings and comply with district policies.
