Adams County School District 14 in Colorado is seeking a Paraprofessional - Health Clerk to support school health services. Under RN supervision, you will conduct health assessments, administer prescribed medications, maintain medical records, and promote a safe, healthy school environment. Requires a high school diploma; medical assistant training preferred.

CPR/First Aid cert required. Prior healthcare or school setting experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of a medical assistant program or relevant healthcare certification preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification required.
• Prior healthcare or school setting experience preferred.
• Experience working with children in an educational environment is an advantage.
• Basic computer skills for record-keeping and data entry.

Responsabilités

• Under the direction of the registered nurse, conduct health assessments, screenings, and evaluations for students.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments per established protocols.
• Maintain a clean and organized health office and accurate medical records.
• Educate students on health topics and promote healthy lifestyle choices.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and healthcare providers to develop individual healthcare plans.
• Respond to medical emergencies and provide immediate care as needed.
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all records and communications.
