Job summary

Walnut Valley Unified School District is seeking a Health Clerk for Walnut Elementary School. The role supports student health services, administers basic first aid, maintains health records, and assists with medication procedures under nurse supervision. Work hours are 11:30 a.m.

to 1:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, 2 hours daily, for 9.5 months. Qualifications include a high school diploma and completion of first aid/ CPR certificates. Two years of related experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Two years of health care experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• First aid/CPR certification preferred or required by district policy.

Responsibilities

• Provide first aid and manage minor health incidents.
• Assist nurse with health services and student care.
• Maintain health office logs and student health records.
• Assist with immunizations and health assessments as needed.
• Communicate with parents regarding student health issues.
