Job summary

The Health Assistant in the Tucson Unified School District supports the school nurse by handling health-related tasks and clerical duties in the health office. Under supervision of a licensed nurse, you’ll assist with basic health procedures, manage files, and help maintain records to ensure a safe, healthy school environment.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, valid CPR/First Aid/AED, and strong communication in English.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CPR, First Aid and AED certification from an in-person provider.
• English reading/writing and ability to follow written/oral instructions.
• Competency in basic dosage calculations and vital signs conversions.
