Qualifications

• Proficient in MS Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine first aid procedures; assists in screening ill or injured students.
• Upon evaluation, refers seriously ill or injured students to the emergency medical system (911).
• Serves as a liaison between children, staff, nurse, parents and community health agencies.
• Maintains student health records and immunization data; posts results to records.
• Maintains a daily log of visits and updates health records.
• Arranges for and assists with health programs and immunizations clinics.
• May assist with medications distribution and diabetic diet monitoring.
• May schedule appointments and handle related clerical tasks.
