Job summary

Corewell Health is seeking a School Health Aide to provide direct student care under the School Nurse's delegation. You will handle first aid, medication administration, and emergency response for school children as part of the School Health Advocacy Program.

You will collaborate with school staff, healthcare providers, and community programs to connect high-risk families with resources and educate clients and the community on health-focused topics.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2 years of relevant experience.
• CRT-First Aid and CRT-CPR per AHA standards.

Responsibilities

• Serves as the school health office primary contact for health needs.
• Provides direct student health care as delegated by the RN.
• Administers scheduled and emergency medications under RN guidance.
• Monitors vital signs and communicates findings to the RN.
• Coordinates with families and community resources to support care.
• Promotes a healthy and safe school environment and advocates for students.
