Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent required.
• Knowledge and experience working with landscaping equipment and tools.
• Ability to read and comprehend manuals, instructions and drawings.
• Possess and maintain a valid Michigan driver’s license and a good driving record.
• Must show evidence of good attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to pass a criminal history background check (fingerprinting).
• Ability to lift and carry up to 100 lbs. and work in varied outdoor conditions.

Responsibilities

• Mow, trim, plant, fertilize, and weed control.
• Maintain school grounds, lawns, landscapes, athletic fields, and exterior spaces.
• Perform snow removal, plowing, and ice management; evenings, mornings, weekends as needed.
• Operate and maintain landscaping equipment and vehicles; ensure safe use and storage.
• Report status of equipment and complete work orders in the system.
• Collaborate with staff and supervisors; work independently with little supervision.
