Qualifications

• Experience in maintenance work aligned with district needs.
• Trade school/technical training desirable.
• Physically fit and physician-certified.

Responsibilities

• Complete regular work assignments as outlined by the Maintenance Foreman.
• Receive special work assignments from the Director of Buildings and Grounds or designee.
• Accept and work overtime assignments per the Agreement.
• Complete repair jobs as required.
• Complete summer and/or school-vacation work as needed.
• Work cooperatively with school administration and educational staff.
• Adhere to Board policies and regulations applicable to the maintenance operation.
• Report work-related problems to the Maintenance Foreman.
• Report personnel-related problems to the Maintenance Foreman.
• Cooperate with other service departments.
• Inspect for unsafe acts/conditions and take corrective action.
