Job summary

Chartwells K-12 in Fort Lupton, CO is hiring immediately for a full-time Food Unit Lead to support the Weld Re-8 School District.

You will supervise food-service staff, oversee meal service, food safety, and sanitation, and help plan menus while ensuring a positive dining experience for students and staff.

The ideal candidate has prior food service and supervisory experience; pay ranges from $21.50 to $22.66 per hour, with online applications accepted only.

Qualifications

• Prior food service and supervisory experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates activities of other food-service employees.
• Creates an enjoyable dining experience for customers, staff and visitors.
• Oversees and participates in the preparation and service of food and beverage items in accordance with company standards for presentation, sanitation, safety and portion control.
• Trains employees; assigns and coordinates work of employees to promote efficiency and excellence in food and service.
• Develops sanitation schedule and ensures adherence by staff.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
