Chartwells K-12 in Farmington, CT is hiring for a full-time Food Unit Lead to coordinate activities of other food-service staff and create an enjoyable dining experience for customers, staff and visitors.

Schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 2:30 pm. Pay range is $19.50–$20.00 per hour with online applications accepted only. Assoc. benefits listed below and potential referral bonus are available.

Qualifications

• A prior ServSafe certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates activities of other food-service employees.
• Oversees preparation and service of food and beverages according to standards.
• Trains employees; assigns and coordinates work to promote efficiency and excellence.
• Maintains daily/weekly/monthly reports such as inventory, payroll and time-keeping.
• Ensures proper cash handling and sanitation compliance.
