Job summary

Cherry Creek School District is seeking a Warehouse Driver to support the Food and Nutrition Services warehouse and connect with district kitchens. You will unload, store, pick, pallet-build, and deliver bakery and produce to schools while monitoring temperatures and adhering to food safety guidelines.

The role requires a CDL Class B, DOT physical, and a clean driving record. You will work in a fast-paced environment with forklift and pallet jack usage and occasional after-hours deliveries

Qualifications

• Criminal background check and fingerprinting required.
• Must obtain Class B CDL within 6 months of hire.
• Must pass Department of Transportation physical.
• Must meet insurability requirements of the Colorado School District Self Insurance Pool.
• Possess and maintain a good driving record.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to operate safely warehouse equipment after training.

Responsibilities

• Delivery of food and supplies to multiple schools daily with temperature monitoring and proper storage.
• Process orders for next-day delivery, including accurate picking and pallet building for dry, cooler, and freezer items.
• Move products to correct storage locations in the warehouse using FIFO to maintain freshness and reduce loss.
• Maintain safety standards and complete required food safety and equipment training annually.
