Job summary

Cherry Creek Schools seeks a Warehouse Driver to support the Food and Nutrition Services warehouse and district kitchens in Centennial, Colorado. You will unload deliveries, pick orders, build pallets, and transport goods to schools, ensuring proper storage and temperature control at all times.

The role requires operating pallet jacks and forklifts after training, maintaining safety, and completing required inspections and scans to keep accurate inventory for daily meal programs and summer

Qualifications

• Criminal background check and fingerprinting required.
• HSE diploma required.
• One year of professional work experience.
• CDL Class B must be obtained within 6 months of hire.
• Must pass the Department of Transportation physical.
• Insurability requirements of Colorado School District Self Insurance Pool.
• Possess and maintain a good driving record.
• Basic knowledge of office equipment such as computers, scanners, radios, cell phones.
• Basic knowledge of math.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work with others or independently.
• Ability to operate safely warehouse equipment after training.
• Safety awareness and safe work habits are essential.

Responsibilities

• Delivery of food and supply orders to multiple schools daily with temperature monitoring.
• Accurate picking and building pallets of dry, cooler, and freezer items.
• Scan all items to ensure inventory accuracy and traceability.
• Move product to storage locations using FIFO to preserve freshness.
• Operate forklift, pallet jacks, and related equipment after training.
• Maintain safety and sanitation and pass health inspections.
• Assist in receiving product and inspecting quality and temperature ranges.
• Support district breaks and summer meals and recall item handling.
