Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to communicate verbally and in writing.
• Exerting up to 50 pounds, up to 30 pounds frequently, and up to 20 pounds constantly to move objects.
• Reach, stretch, bend, stoop or kneel to handle/move objects up to 6 feet high.
• Walk or stand for four hours continuously.
• Work in varied environmental conditions including extreme cold/heat and noisy environments.
• Satisfactory clearance of a criminal history records check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Directly responsible to the Food Service Manager for completing duties to established standards.
• Observe sanitation and safety rules and regulations.
• Assist with food service operations during emergencies.
• Interact courteously with the public.
• Maintain effective working relationships with managers and other staff.
• Prepare food and baked goods as directed by the Food Service Manager.
• Follow recipes and production planning sheets.
• Monitor inventory and assist with ordering as needed.
