Cedar Falls Community Schools is seeking a Lead Floating Food Service staff member in Cedar Falls, IA. The role handles 6.5 hours per day with benefits eligibility and requires ServSafe certification and a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities include assisting with deliveries, food preparation, and maintaining inventory and records, with opportunities to assist in recipe testing and product development as needed.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Child Nutrition Program Requirement.
• Working knowledge of food preparation.
• Knowledge of basic mathematics and measuring conversions.
• Knowledge of safety and health regulations.

Responsabilités

• Provide instruction to a few people and supervise food service tasks.
• Assist with putting away delivered foods and supplies.
• Maintain clean body and clothing at all times.
• Prepare foods for special diets according to manager’s direction.
• Ensure equipment is properly used and cared for.
• Prepare food items by using standardized recipes and methods.
• Ensure proper food amounts sent to satellite schools.
• Assist with setting up serving areas and dispensing food.
• Drive delivery truck to schools if needed for emergency deliveries.
• Keep daily records of food and non-food supplies for inventory.
