Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• ServSafe certification required or willingness to obtain.
• Experience in food service, catering, or school nutrition preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities.

Liberty Classical Academy is a Christ-centered, classical Preschool–12th grade private school with campuses in White Bear Lake and Hugo, Minnesota. We are seeking a dependable, organized, and service-oriented School Food Service Coordinator to support our lunch program for students in grades 3–8 beginning in August 2026.

This part-time role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a school environment and takes pride in maintaining high standards of food safety, organization, and customer service. The School Food Service Coordinator plays an important role in ensuring students receive safe, timely, and well-prepared lunch service each day.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, organize, and prepare catered lunch items for daily student service
• Ensure compliance with all food safety and sanitation standards, including ServSafe requirements
• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen and food storage environment
• Support the safety and well-being of students by following allergen and dietary accommodation protocols
• Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering and stocking lunch program supplies as needed
• Coordinate meal service to ensure lunches are distributed accurately and efficiently
• Maintain food service records and documentation as required
• Work collaboratively with school staff and vendors to support a positive lunch experience for students

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Prior experience in food service, hospitality, catering, school nutrition, or a related field preferred
• ServSafe Certification required or willingness to obtain certification upon hire
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and allergen management practices preferred
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities effectively

Schedule, Pay & Benefits

• Schedule:Part-time, approximately 18–20 hours per week
• Pay Range:$16–$18 per hour, based on experience and qualifications
