Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience with large-scale cooking and food preparation/serving preferred.
• Maine DOE Criminal History Record Check eligibility required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with quantity food preparation.
• Assist with the cleaning of the kitchen and cafeteria area.
• Assist with the daily cleaning of all kitchen equipment to ensure cleanliness and sanitary conditions are met.
• Sets up and breaks down serving lines (salad bar, hot food, ala carte etc.).
• Operates cash register, dishwasher, meat slicer and other food service equipment.
• Collects money, makes change, completes related reports.
