Job summary

Olathe Public Schools is seeking a Food Services Staff member at Chisholm Trail Middle School to support food service activities, prepare and serve meals, and keep facilities clean and safe in a high-paced school environment.

Responsibilities include setting up serving areas, maintaining equipment, and ensuring health standards while assisting with inventory and coordination with staff and students.

Responsibilities

• Arrange food and beverages and set up equipment for serving.
• Attend meetings and trainings to perform job functions.
• Clean utensils, equipment and serving areas to maintain sanitary conditions.
• Evaluate and verify quantity, quality, and specifications of food items.
• Inspect items to ensure health standards are met.
• Inventory food, condiments and supplies for menu requirements.
• Maintain sanitary kitchen and cafeteria areas.
• Prepare food items to meet nutritional requirements.
• Serve food to students and staff as required.
• Communicate effectively verbally and in writing at required level.
