Qualifications

• Must have excellent communication skills and ability to communicate with building staff and administrators.
• Ability to work efficiently and independently without close supervision.

Responsibilities

• Instill a positive service-minded attitude and pride in a job well done.
• Maintain inventory and assist in ordering cleaning materials and equipment.
• Enter work orders for maintenance needs.
• Assist in inspections and evaluations of custodial staff and areas.
• Inform administrators and supervisor about short- and long-term needs, repairs, or unusual findings.
• Maintain building security and assist in energy conservation and safety inspections.
• Open/close building daily and ensure doors/windows are secure and lights off.
• Perform daily custodian duties and other duties as assigned.
